About Us

We are an organic, small-scale family farm run by husband and wife farmers Caroline and Travis Prendergast. We both share a love and passion for organic farming, self-sufficiency, and land stewardship. Our passions have guided our lifestyle and work which is how Harvest Moon Homestead was created in 2019.

Our homestead is nestled in the Trinity river valley and tucked away in the mountains of Humboldt County. Our farm is located on the ancestral lands of the Tsnungwe tribe, in a town known today as Willow Creek.

We specialize in growing cut-flowers to provide locally grown flower options to our community. We also have a passion for crafting botanical skin care from plants we grow on our homestead. We hand craft lip balms, lotion bars, flower bath soaks and copper distilled hydrosol water. We prioritize using reusable and biodegradable packaging and strive reduce our plastic footprint.

You can find us at the Arcata farmer’s markets on Saturdays or online in our Etsy shop. You can also find our flower bouquets seasonally at Wildberries, North Coast COOP, Eureka Natural Foods, and Murphy’s Market place in Arcata, Eureka, and Mckinleyville.
